Is it Better to own or Rent Games?
Afther Buying Games for many years, the part where you had money in your pocket starts to dig into ones funds. Buying a Brand new game, Sealed, The game is ready to be open so you can enjoy a nice time playing. A couple of hours, Days , etc later . You find that the game you worked so hard to get was much more shorter than you thought and start to wonder... Was it really worth it. Not sure how to feel about this subject rather then see someones else point of View. Here are some Pro and Cons for Buying and Renting Games.
Pros and Cons:
Late for What
Having no due date for game is good in a way. Not having to look at your calender to find out you have to return the game you wanted to keep. The bill you have pay would be a annoying thing to have especcially if your a person that clings to his Disks. Like me .
Sharing is Caring
The game you want to share to your friend is simple as him geting a nice physical copy of your game. Not only you guys will bond more but you likely have some scraches when you get it back. Bonding!
You Break it You Buy It
Imagine your game breaks , your piss off and you do not want to put up with anyone. Now imagine that the copy you broke is not yours. You will find out that the game you are paying for now is not in your possetion and you short cash. If it broke and you were the owner , at least its your only grief.
Pros and Cons:
Horrible like refund ..Oh wait
Imagine you bought the game that was so over hyped you thought you should give it a try. You go home and boot that baby up and have the most disturb , upset face. Yep that game sucked badly. Well time to return it for another one. Thank god i did not buy that one. Phew.
How Much I Saved?
Not all rental game companies charge the best program for you to rent thier games. Some have contracts and some have very steep renting polcies. The good part about this is that you save for sure. Remember , How many games have you bought that you still play today?
Final Word?
Weather you like to rent or own its totally up to you. I like buying my games even though thiers a risk of the game not living up to the hype or the game was to short. I notice that not all is bad. Why? I looked back and now i have a collection of game, proof i played those games and the relieve good times. What ever you perfer its up to you decide what best for you and your wallet.
